Technology
Welcome
MSc in Oil & Gas Technology combines Engineering and Business studies and it is offered by the School of Chemistry of Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), in the city of Kavala, Greece. It is a new generation of Masters Program that covers the area of Business Engineering Science and Technology (MBEST), which is most wanted in Industry worldwide.
The Program has a duration of 3 academic semesters and provides a total of 90 ECTS.
It is a highly academic and professional Program, providing knowledge and skills for those who are interested in a transition from engineering to management positions and for those who find that complex managerial situations require some deeper technical understanding. Again, it is ideal for new entrants in oil and gas industry too. The MSc is fully recognized by the greek State (see MSc Act section).

Admission requirements
Background
Students with excellent performance on their undergraduate studies in engineering or a relevant science discipline such as Geology, Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics, from a greek or foreign University will be accepted in the program without pre-requirements. Other entrants are possible to attend the course but they may be required to attend classes of undergraduate Petroleum Engineering Technology core courses (production and drilling engineering).
In addition to the academic qualifications, motivation and industrial experience are also taken into consideration. Professionals, based on their work experience, are welcome too.

All applicants must document english language qualifications.

Distance learning
MSc in Oil & Gas Technology offers the possibility of attending its courses either via distance learning education or in person at the University.
Tuition fees
Attendance of the entire MSc Program costs €3,850. Application and registration deadlines are announced in time by the official website and are compliant with the relevant greek legislation.
